Civil engineers/Architects
Architectural/Engineering firms
Structural engineers
Technical universities
Structural Mechanics, Site Supervisor, Draftsman
BIM Designer/Modeler
Government Agency / Public Sector Unit
Course Overview:
BIM 360 (Building Information Modeling) is an intelligent 3D model-based software that gives architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) professionals the insight and tools to more efficiently plan, design, construct, and manage buildings and infrastructure. BIM 360 helps to project team to reduce the time and cost associated with managing RFI’s and submittals, as well as being a single point of truth. BIM 360 lets you co-author shared Revit models, and curate, coordinate, and manage deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
Course Objective:
The BIM 360 training course has been designed to teach the Concepts and Principles of Building Information Modeling to create a full 3D architectural project model. BIM 360 improves construction project delivery by supporting informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle. From design collaboration, documentation and reviews, to pre-construction, and through quality and safety and operations, BIM 360 connects the people, data and workflows on your project.
Learning outcomes:
After completing this course, Students will Understand:
Understanding the purpose of BIM and how it is applied.
Navigating the Autodesk BIM 360 workspace and interface.
How to consolidate civil, architectural, structural, and MEP models into one BIM model in the cloud.
Students can use review and markup tools for communicating issues across disciplines.
Students will locate clashes to find constructability issues.
