Who can learn Revit Structure?
Civil / Structural engineers
Architects
Engineering/Consulting/Architectural firms
Technical universities
Structural Mechanics, Construction Site Supervisor, Designer
Government Agency / Public Sector Unit
Course Overview:
Autodesk Revit Structure is a robust Structure design and documentation software application created by Autodesk for architects and building professionals. The tools and features that make up Revit Structure are specifically designed to support building information modeling (BIM) workflows. Autodesk Revit Structure calculates even your more complex models with powerful finite element auto-meshing, nonlinear algorithms, and a comprehensive collection of design codes.
Course Objective:
The main goal of this discipline is to assure the student to be able to realize a complete structural analysis of a steel, reinforced concrete or mixed structure by using computer Aided Design tools
- Create an accurate structure, for use in all program aspects of designing a project and the construction of a real-world model.
- Design structural building systems which create buildings with structural integrity.
- Design and develop structural building systems.
Learning outcomes:
After completing this course, Students will be able to
Starting a new project and its modification.
Inserting and modifying different structural elements, including reinforced concrete and steel.
Modelling structures created in both plan and 3D view.
connections between different structural elements.
Define and assign loads to the created structure.
Structural modeling to simulate wind load in the design.
Matrix Analysis of structures.
Wide range analysis capabilities.
Realize a full structural analysis of a steel.
Generating report of calculations.
